Very disappointing
Brought this thread for a xmas quilting project for my grandson
Not only is it almost impossible to thread the needle, once threaded the cotton keeps breaking.
I’m going to return this to the store
I’ve tried numerous times to sew, but every time the cotton breaks

Poor qualit
Threading this is not for the fainthearted!! the most difficult to use metallic thread I have used. I had to use hairspray to stick the frayed ends together in order to thread it even then it was a struggle. During use it continues to fray until you are just left the polyester thread and a mess to clear out of the tension wheel. All in all very dissapointing

Versatile thread
The metallic effect on this is very pretty and the thread itself is pretty strong. This could be used for many different projects.

Fine if you use it as a sewing thread but it wasn't thick enough for what i wanted it for it wasn't the thread that was at fault

Looks good
Not used yet . No price in store but thought it was same as other threads . When paying at till was cheaper . Staff rang in my £2.50 voucher for thread which was £2. So have lost 50p was not told this at time of sale so lost my reward for shopping at Hobbycraft
