All you need for any pale fabric
Sensible, reliable, economical and functional. This is a sturdy essential for any sewer. Just off white but pastel enough to be versatile it’s the pale base colour in my sewing basket
Watch out for Hobbycraft sewing specials but I am always willing to pay full price for “urgent” jobs when low stocks at home.
I use this for all sewing on my Janome 8900 but bought for sister to use on her old Brother Machine. Now a star in her sewing arsenal.

Great thread
Lovely thread, smooth and works really well in the sewing machine. Large reel, more economical. Bought Click and Collect, it was slightly darker than it showed on my monitor but the staff at Lincoln store exchanged it for the right shade - excellent service.

Have always used gutermann thread and it works for me whether it's light or heavy fabric do a lot of soft furnishing and use a lot of different textures the thread always sews evenly and never seems to get jammed. Love it.

Excellent value for money
I have used this thread on a range of fabrics, e.g. linen, cotton and polyester mixes. The results have been excellent. It also is easy to thread the sewing needles, which is not the case with all similar threads.

Very reliable thread
Gutermann thread is strong and reliable whichever type is chosen. It runs through the machine smoothly and is perfect for hand stitching too. Other thread may be cheaper but I stick with Gutermann.

As ever a decent quality general purpose thread - Colour 1 is NOT bright white (Hobbycraft have it listed as white) but a creamy/ivory colour be warned if you need to stitch in bright white.

Excellent product with wide range of colours.
I am using this thread whilst making cotton and polyester Dresses, silk bags, linen shopping bags, mixed fibre lavender bags and silk and viscoue glasses cases. A brilliant stitch each time.

i have used cheaper thread in my machine or when sewing by hand and its rubbish...This is best thread ever and worth the price...even better when on offer...i stock up!!
