Lovely colour, but texture is awful and doesn’t form straight
I had high hopes for this writing icing as it was meant to decorate a retirement cake. However the icing just comes out of the tube wobbly and loopy. I tried many times and in different ways to get it to pipe cleanly and in a straight line, but to no avail. Avoid if you want to pipe words. Would be fine if you just want squiggles.

Easy to use
First time I have used this type of icing to pipe a name on the cake I was making. Easy to pipe and looks brilliant, especially in gold. I would definitely use again on future cakes. It also comes in different colours too.

Lovely shiny colour
The colour and shine on this icing was just what I was looking for. Flower centres worked fine but not the writing. The icing kept breaking when I was using it to write and the nozzle wasn’t great. It was difficult to clear the spoiled writing because of the stain it left on white icing. I tried warming the tube but it was no better.

Got it wrong.
Perhaps I got the wrong idea for this writing icing product, I thought the icing would set nice and hard on my Unicorns, but it stayed all soft and sticky so I had to take it all off my projects because I could not package them up all sticky, disappointed product that I thought would be good.

Brilliant and easy
For people who are not very steady with the cake writing tools this was great, even my 13year old was able to write beautifully with it, great little product and very tasty to

Expensive for what you get !
There wasn't much inside the tub, and when writing on the cake, air bubbles kept getting trapped then bubberling out all over my white cake

Found it difficult to use
When I made a mistake I found out I couldn’t just scape it of the white cakes I had to add a layer of icing
