Step 1

To access the project, copy and paste the link into your browser, you will be directed to a Cricut landing page, select 'Open' followed by 'Open Cricut Design Space Application'.

Select 'Make It'.

Step 2

Connect to your Cricut Machine and select 'Vellum' as your base material.

Top Tip: I find a pressure of “More” works better with this paper

Step 3

Place the vellum sheet onto your cutting mat and secure. The Cricut Brayer tool is great for getting a good bond between the paper and mat.

Load your gold pen into clamp A and fine point blade into clamp B.

Next, load your cutting mat into the machine and press the flashing Go / C button to start the cut!

Step 4

Once the cut is complete unload the mat.

To remove the vellum from the mat, turn the mat upside down and peel it away from the vellum, this will help the vellum to remain flat.

Step 5

If any negative pieces of the design have not detached, remove these with a pair of tweezers.

Step 6

Secure the two ends of the vellum strip together using double-sided tape or a tape runner.

Step 7

Place around your LED tealight and enjoy!

Any colour of vellum can be used to recreate this project - white vellum also works well!
