How to Make

Flamingo

1. Turn the card into a portrait position.

2. Add some pink paint onto your hand and print onto the card horizontally.

3. Make your hand into a loose 'C' shape and then apply some paint onto the side of your little finger and hand. Print this onto the card to create the flamingo neck.

4. Apply a googly eye and draw on a beak and legs to finish.

Fingerprint Heart

1. Lightly draw a heart shape onto a piece of card (this will act as a guide).

2. Dip your finger into the first paint colour and press randomly within in the heart shape. Repeat this step in different colours to fill the heart shape.

Idea: You could make this artwork for a school teacher with all the children in the class printing their fingerprints within the heart. Or you could make a family heart with each member using their fingerprint to create the artwork.

Peacock

1. Liberally apply green, purple and blue paint onto your hand.

2. Press your palms together to transfer the paint across both hands.

3. Place your hands on the card and lift off to create the print.

4. Make your hand into a fist, then apply paint to the edge of your hand and little finger. Press down onto the card to create the peacock head.

5. Stick on a googly eye, draw on a beak and add some feather details to the head.

Butterfly

1. Position the card horizontally in front of you.

2. Apply a generous amount of paint onto your hand. Get creative using different colours for different parts of the hand.

3. Press your palms together to spread the paint evenly across both hands.

4. Press your hands onto the top of the card and lift off to print. Leave a gap at the bottom of the card as this is where you will draw the butterfly's body.

5. Turn the paper into a portrait position, then draw the body and antennae with a black felt tip pen.
