How to Make a Ribbon Garland
Garlands are a quick and fun party decoration, suitable for every celebration! This easily adaptable project can be made to suit your colour theme for birthdays, weddings, graduations and many other occasions. You can even dig into your stash of ribbons and create a mismatched colourful carnival look with your selection.

Cut 60 lengths of ribbon, each 60cm long.
Fold the first ribbon in half. Take the bias binding and starting 60cm from the end (this will allow you to hang your garland once complete), place the folded ribbon inside the binding, fold and pin. Repeat this process with your other ribbons, butting one up against each other as you go.
Use a sewing machine to sew a straight running stitch on the bias binding to hold the ribbons inside. Take out the pins as you go.
Once complete, hang as desired.
