How to make
Cut the branches down, so you have smaller offcuts to work with.
Now attach your tape to the stalk of the first stem being used.
Wrap it around a few times so it is secure. Travel down the stalk with the tape until you are halfway down.
Place another stem of foliage on top so it's overlapping the first stalk.
Slightly further down wrap the tape around the stalk to secure both stems together.
Continue to do the above step until you are almost at the end of the length required.
With the last stem, make sure it slightly fuller than the rest, as this will be cut down quite short.
Once secured with the tape.
Cut the excess off the stem away leaving a small nub of a stalk.
You won't see the nub, it will be blended in once you have wrapped the garland around the cake tier.
Once complete, recreate the process to create a garland for each tier or your wedding cake.
Position in place, carefully bending it to match the curvature of the cake.
