You will need
How to make
* Invisible Thread
* Balloons/Lanterns
* Pastel Card
* Pastel Ribbon
* Scissors
* Glue
* Cricut or Craft Punch (optional)
* Sewing Machine (optional)
Cut your shapes that will make up your garland, you can either use a craft punch to create shapes or use the templates to cut by hand or with a Cricut machine.
Glue one side of your shapes and place beading thread through the middle of the shape before enclosing the thread by sticking another shape so they are back to back with the thread running through.
Repeat this leaving equal space between your shapes. You don't want to add too much weight to your strings else they will be too heavy for the balloon, if you are using them for lanterns then you can add as much weight as you'd like.
If you have a sewing machine you can speed up this process by sewing a running stitch through your shapes, just start at the top of the shape and slowly stitch through
Once you reach the end, pull a length of thread through before stitching through the next shape, repeat until you have created your desired length garland.
For the Ribbon decorations gather a section of thin ribbons in your chose colour palette and cut 2m long
Fold in half and tie a loose knot at the fold so you have lengths of 1m ribbon from your knot. You can then tighten this to attach to balloons or lanterns
