How to Make Card Sea Creatures

1. Draw around the templates for the crab body and claws onto corrugated card then cut them out. Fold the body in half and then open out again.

2. Cut five pipe cleaners in half. Use eight halves for the legs and the two remaining for eye stalks.

3. For the eye stalks, bend the pipe cleaners in half and twist them together at the bend. Stick one googly eye onto each eye stalk.

4. Glue the legs in place, using the image as a guide, bending them until you're happy with the shape. Stick the orange lolly sticks above the legs - one on either side of the body. Then attach the claws to the end of these sticks.

5. Make two holes through the fold of the body using a pencil. Push the pipe cleaners through the holes and glue in place.

6. Fold the body in half and glue shut.

7. Using a pen, draw a simple mouth. To finish, add orange pom poms to the body.

1. Draw around the octopus template onto corrugated card twice, and then cut them out.

2. Choose eight pipe cleaners for tentacles and sandwich them between the front and back of the body. Glue in place.

3. Add googly eyes and draw a mouth.

4. Use a selection of colourful beads and thread them onto the tentacles. They may need gluing in place at the end or to keep them still on the tentacles.

1. Draw around the jellyfish template onto corrugated card twice and then cut them out.

2. Choose six pipe cleaners and wrap them around a pen or pencil to create a coil.

3. With the pipe cleaners, sandwich them between the front and back of the body and glue in place.

4. Add googly eyes and draw a mouth. Glue a selection of sequins around the body to decorate.
