How to make
Open Design Space and start a new project.
Open the image library and search for “kawaii” in the search bar. Scroll down until you see an image with just eyes and a mouth feature, like the one shown.
Select as many kawaii images as you have pots and insert them onto the canvas.
Select one of the inserted images and the “Edit” menu. Measure each of your pots and one by one edit each image to the desired width size, also bear in mind the sizes of any scrap pieces of vinyl you intend to use.
Top Tip: By using the “Sync” menu you can make sure your images are all the same colour to ensure they cut on the same cutting materials. Hold and drag the image/s that may be out of sync to the correct colour section.
Press “Make it”, this will load the preview mat screen. Load you cutting mat with scraps of vinyl slightly bigger than your images, these can be all over the mat, but make sure they are the same types I.e., all removable vinyl.
If using the “SnapMat” feature, align the camera with the top and bottom of you cutting mat.
Reposition the images to the locations of the scraps you have placed on the mat by selecting each one and dragging into place, rotate if needed.
Once happy, press “Continue” and follow the usual process to select your material type and cut out the images.
Once cut, weed appropriately and transfer onto transfer tape.
Carefully transfer onto your desired pots for a cheeky addition to your home décor.
