A Collection of Flowers to Press
Blotting Paper and a Stack of Books (if not using a flower press)
Iron (Optional)
Get your flowers ready to press, remember flat headed flowers work best for pressing and will achieve the best results
Press your flowers by placing the floral heads and stems onto a piece of blotting paper, (if using a flower press, the paper will be included) making sure they have enough room to flatten around them. Add a piece of blotting paper onto and place in the flower press or under a stack of books for around 5 weeks. (You can alternatively press a low heated iron onto the paper to speed up the process and create pressed flowers in an afternoon, you'll need to make sure you don't push the iron across the paper as it will tear the petals just press and lift across the paper for the desired effect.
Using your pencil lightly draw your letter onto the piece of card
Add pritt stick along the pencil line and begin sticking your pressed florals along the line
Create a full looking letter by keeping the spaces between the florals minimal and overlapping to make the letter stand out.
Your pressed flower art is now complete!
