You will need
You will also need:
*A saucepan (you could use an old bowl and a microwave for the melting process if preferred)
*A hob
To dry your own flowers:
Wait for your fresh flowers to start wilting, remove the petals and leave to dry on a flat surface (ideally put them in the airing cupboard to speed up the process)
Heat the wax in a saucepan to melt it down into liquid, add a few of your dried petals into the melted wax.
Leave to cool but keep stirring so that the wax doesn’t set (this is really important; if you pour the boiling wax into the clamshells they will melt).
Add a few dashes of scent to your liquid wax - this will also help to cool the mixture down.
Pour the wax into the clamshells and add extra petals into each of the squares. Make sure the petals are covered with wax to set.
Leave to set and harden before removing from the clam shell.
