Hello, I’m Jen from Hobbycraft Hull. I’ve been a part of the Hobbycraft family for 18 years and over that time I’ve had a go at most crafts. Some of my favourites have been silversmithing, painting, knitting, crochet and cake decorating. But I have always loved anything to do with fabric and thread, especially dressmaking and embroidery.

I love making my own clothes, the feeling of wearing something unique and custom made for you is truly wonderful and is something I would encourage everyone to try. Sharing the skills I have with others and encouraging them to experiment and learn new techniques is a really rewarding part of being an artisan and is something I always enjoy.
