Lovely soft wool
I used this wool to crochet my first ever jumper. It came up lovely and soft and was easy to crochet with. The only down side was one on the balls had a knot where the wool had been joined together and in another place the wool wasn’t joined at all. I purchased 6 balls but only had this problem with one, so maybe just unlucky.

Lovely variation of colours for a subdued effect, the yarn seems ever so slightly thinner than some of the other DKs around, great for socks, gloves etc which do not need to be bulky.

Not keen
Not happy with James C Brett patterns or wool. Have tried a couple of their patterns and their wool. Patterns are not good. Neither item came out as it should so gone back to Sirdar again. I would also like to say that I am a proficient knitter.

Snapped wool
This is an unfortunate rating as I love the colour and the first ball I used was completely fine. Unfortunately the second ball has been in broken bits the whole way through, to the point I had to stop using it. Very frustrating.

Beautiful yarn
The colours of this yarn caught my eye and I’ve started crocheting with it and it looks even better. Great quality and the yarn doesn’t snag or catch and feels soft. I will buy this yarn again as it’s lovely.

Great yarn & the colours are beautiful
This is great yarn to add a twist to all of your projects. Personally I am using in a granny square crochet blanket for a friend. Nearly finished so very excited to see how it all looks when it’s finished.

Lovely colours
I have used the James C Brett stonewash wool before. It is nice and soft,especially as I use it for babies and children, and easy to knit with. The mixed colours make it look special when it is completed.
