Diabolical! DO NOT BUY!
Diabolical! Hobbycraft should refund all buyers!
I bought this because I loved the mustard colour but this is the worst yarn I’ve ever “tried” to use. I don’t think it would even make a good pompom! I’ve used a lot of yarns and this is like knitting with a weak embroidery silk. It’s thin, breaks, just basically the crappiest yarn you could ever find. And at £4.50 as it was when I purchased its expensive too. Going in the bin and hobbycraft should be ashamed to manufacture such a poor yarn at a premium price and should refund! Appalling! NOT IMPRESSED.
Hobbycraft feel free to refund me to keep me as a customer otherwise I’ll happily now buy my yarns from cheaper online companies as this is appalling and in a cost of living crisis when yarns are expensive and we do this as a hobby this is disgusting! I am furious.

Avoid
I bought this yarn to make a “Weasley” jumper for my daughter. Thought I’d found the perfect yarn, it is lovely and soft but it doesn’t matter how careful I was it kept splitting. So much so I gave up & am looking for a new yarn. Would not recommend.

Avoid unless you like being frustrated
Horrible, fragile yarn that's barley spun and splits if you blow at it too hard.
It's a shame as the colour is beautiful and it feels very soft.

Lovely and soft
I’m currently using this yarn for a woven scarf on a table loom. It feels lovely and soft. It works as both warp and weft but breaks quite easily so have to be careful not to add too much tension. And isn’t the easiest to undo if mistakes are made as it sticks to itself so I can imagine it might be a bit frustrating if using for crochet if you need to frog a row or two. But it does feel and look very nice so still worth a try id say!

Don’t buy this. Wish I had read the reviews first
Dreadful. After 4 attempts to cast on given up - can’t risk using the yarn on a Christmas present. What a waste of money.

Looked beautiful but was horrible to knit with!
I picked this up based on the gorgeous colour and softness. I wish I had only bought 1 rather than 3! Splits easily and has no elasticity at all, most ugly, rigid swatch I've ever made!

Disappointed
Found a few pieces of sharp plastic embedded in the wool, they were difficult to remove, although I managed to remove them without damaging the wool.
