Nice mask, but a pain to paint!
Bought this to paint as a zombie for my sons Halloween costume this year.
Absolute nightmare to paint, even when primed, sanded etc...the paint came off as quickly as it went on, not helpful when trying to blend colours for contours/highlights & shadows.
Took several attempts with different paints/mediums/applications and still not much improvement.
Only really looked half decent when applying paint super gently and blending with my finger.
It’s a nice enough mask, but far too much stress to paint if you want much detail, would only buy again if I were to use heavy blocks of colour and collage/decoupage materials.

Great for price
I bought this for my son to decorate for a tribal mask for school & it was fantastic, no paint absorbed through to the other side so was fantastic. Would definitely purchase again.

This product was perfect for a school project
I used the face mask to make an Egyptian death mask . I used it as a centre piece, I attached a piece of card to the mask, drew out the head piece , glued it in place. Using strips of news paper and PVA glue.. Painted it gold. One fabulous Egyptian death mask

A great base to work on
I needed a base to make a mask from. I applied modelling clay, then used plaster bandage to build up. Dried off and detailed with acrylic paint, the resulting mask is everything I set out to achieve.

Easy to spray paint
I bought this for my daughter's PEB homework project. She spray painted it gold and added embellishments. It looks great, and she got top marks!

I liked the material used make this product. The features sufficiently neutral for adding more expression.
These masks and other items purchased were used as part of an art therapy project (subject: the Human Head) in Bury St Edmunds
on the 10th April. They were covered in plaster and will be painted and exhibited in June. Purchase made in Norwich.

Great for boys
I struggle getting crafty things for my 7yr old son. He spent a good hour sat down colouring, painting and sticking things on this mask. He hangs it proudly in his bedroom when he is not wearing it to fight off monsters and zombies!!!

Great mask
My son loves masks and he chose to get this one this time. He will decorate using pens and paper.
Only shame is the way they are hung in store because it spoils the mache eye area.
