Super easy to use
I've gotten back into sewing recently and using my old blunt chalks to mark fabric was wasting a lot of time, so I bought this powdered chalk wheel and it works perfectly. The clicking sounds as you use it are also pretty therapeutic!
Some people say it marks very faintly but that's probably because they haven't removed the seal that allows the chalk to flow into the main compartment. You need to take the clear plastic square out and then remove the little black seal.

Miracle product
I bought this after you were sold out of chalk - a helpful shop assistant recommended it, and i am so happy i did!
It creates the perfect straight thin line for marking out.

Awesome and tidy
Really like this product it's clean and tidy, doesn't leave chalk all over fingertips or all over the garment or fabric that your marking, the chalk is easy to change and love the little refills you can buy when it runs out, much easier to draw a straight line, all in all a great tool for any fabric/ sewing project. Would definitely recommend if you normally use a piece of chalk this is much more cleaner and shows well on the fabric.

The products was just what I wanted
When I went in to the shop I couldn’t find what I wanted but I asked a member of staff where I could find what I wanted and she didn’t just tell me where it was she showed me she was very friendly and she gave me some other ideas too which was very helpful . And when I went it the checkout the lady there was friendly too it was so nice to see staff enjoying their job will differently go back there and also tell my Friends about the shop I all so fine what ever I buy at hobby craft it good quality and value for money

Design is good product not so!
Used this once and half way through the project the chalk was gone so very disappointing but can buy refills. Works out expensive if it only lasts a little while.

Not for beginners
You have an idea in your head that it’s going to be easy to use….. I am an absolute beginner I just didn’t get on with it. Think this is suited for more experienced people.

Brilliant. Makes a difference
I found this easy to use and great value. With some tailors chalk the fabric would get dragged. I found this glides very easily on fabric. However, the chalk is less and finishes quick. I would like to share, you can grate chalk with a blade and you will then have chalk powder. You can add the chalk powder in the powder slot and carry on using the chalk wheel :)

Not Up to Standard
I bought this after trying for ages to get dressmakers chalk which they have not had in stock for a good while.
There were no instructions as how to use it or even open it. When I eventually worked out how to open it the powder went all over my carpet and couch and very little of it was left. I would not purchase this again and personally not worth the money.
