Patons Double Knitting 100% cotton
I bought this ball of yarn to replace some Patons Double Knitting 100% cotton which was not purchased from Hobbycraft. As this yarn is expensive I was extremely disappointed to discover at least 4 manufacturer's knots joining the yarn together in the first 25 metres, even more disappointed when the knots caused the knitted piece to look uneven and gave up when one of the knots came apart and caused a hole to appear in my knitting. If the same problem occurs with this ball, I will be writing a strong letter of complaint to Patons - so many knots are unacceptable and did not occur in the past.

Nice quality yarn for crocheting
Nice quality and easy to work with. The only reason I haven't given it 5* is that it was expensive compared to comparable online prices.

Fab cotton
Knits up well holds it’s shape well despite being cotton. Washes easily despite careless washing. Stains seem to come off too and the jackets I knitted for toddler grandchildren still look perfect a year later hence me buying all this to knit in bigger sizes. Only grumble is last year it was in 3 for 2 this year full price

Patons 100% cotton DK
Am enjoying knitting up this yarn as feels really silky although I feel it is quite thin for DK. Feels more like 4 ply. I have decided to knit 2 sizes up from pattern to come out the same size as previous sweater knit following this pattern. Love the colour though.

Beautiful shiny yarn
This 100% cotton yarn is beautiful. It has a lovely shine to it, is soft and silky and feels cool in your hands. I use this to crochet a summer cloche hat for a little girl. It is a little heavier than acrylic yarn.

Perfect for crochet
I have just started to crochet but was having difficulty seeing what i was doing with ordinary double knitting wool.This mercerised cotton dk doesnt have annoying fuzz so you can see the definition of the stitches perfectly.Plus it feels lovely and soft and produces a more professional result.

Knits up Beautifully.
I have a very young grandaughter who is allergic to some yarns particularly wool so I find using 100% cotton the best option. This yarn knits up beautifully. Washes and wears well. I am very pleased with it.

Patons cotton wool
Excellent service via on line and in store this wool does lovely baby blankets only thing I would say is hobbycraft has stopped doing pale blue and candy pink which were lovely colours baby pink
