Even for a beginner like me, as long as I’ve got instructions to follow...you tube is great for that you can make things fairly easily. This year it’ll be more reindeer on top of the Christmas cake and a few more slightly elaborate decorations :)

This isn't the cheapest fondant you can buy, and more often that not you need 3 to cover a cake for about 16 people. However it is the easiest to work with I find and the cakes using this one have turned out brilliantly.

I sprinkled sesame seeds onto the worktop before I rolled it out and one pack of icing was exactly the right amount and the colour I wanted. I had one very happy birthday boy!
