Awful red fondant …
I have used Renshaw’s white version of this paste which is nice to work with. This red version however is absolutely the worst fondant I have ever used! It rips very easily so that thin look cannot be achieved contrary to the description and to top it off elephant skin as well! I had to cover the cake twice in an attempt to make good of the disaster finish. But for the fact that I had to deliver the cake the next morning I would have stripped this off the cake and coloured the white fondant red myself or better still paint it red after covering. Very disappointed and a waste of money.

Poor quality and dry finish
Poor quality and dry finish. Claims to be extra smooth and extra stretchy but was neither! Regularly decorate cakes and would never purchase this icing again as was very dry to mould and didn’t give a smooth finish.

Disappointing
I love the white and black extra, so thought this would be as good. Sadly it wasn't. It would not cover my cake without tearing as it went over the top edge. I expected it to be as good as the other two but I would have got better results using regular red. Very disappointing.

Unusable
It was dry and cracked when I tried to cover my cake. I don’t know if there was a hole in the packaging or what but it was unusable and put me behind with my orders. If I could give it zero stars I would.

The worst icing I've ever used
Have used the white extra stretch before and it worked well. The red is awful! Ripped very easily, quite dry finish. Waste of £7.50! Have to go out and buy more. Do not recommend at all

Would not recommend
This is the worst icing that I’ve ever used. Pale in colour, cracks as soon as rolled/laid on. I make a lot of cakes and each time I’ve tried renshaw fondant it has been awful.

Disappointing
Described as extra strong spent extra to get a good finish on the cake, and it was not at all extra strong and the icing cracked as soon as transferred. Really disappointing

Very easy to use and stable when handling.
Different flavour to the Regalice I usually use but very good. Recommend to all levels of cake decorators.
