The Fokker Dr. 1 triplane is best known as the plane of the Red Baron, Baron Manfred von Richthofen, who won numerous victories in it during World War I. This agile aircraft achieved high rates of climb and was one of the most remarkable machines of its time.
In addition to the unassembled model, the Fokker Dr. 1 triplane model kit includes a number of details to bring it to life. These include detailed surfaces, a carefully designed cockpit with control stick and seat, two detailed Spandau machine guns, a detailed radial engine and a movable propeller.
