This high quality German Tiger I Mid Production scale model is part of a range of quality model kits from Tamiya. Perfect for all model enthusiasts, this kit contains a ready to assemble 1:35 scale model.

Once assembled, this kit makes a highly accurate replica model of the German Tiger I heavy tank. This tank was placed into service during 1942, and modified from 1943 to 1944, and hence was referred to as Mid Production. Like all Tamiya models, the attention to detail is amazing. The highly detailed features of this model include complete exterior detailing, separately moulded track links, accurately reproduced suspension system, and included realistic figure.

This kit is a detailed scale model for hobbyists from. Modelling skills are helpful if under 10 years of age. Not a toy. Warning choking hazard, contains small parts. Cement and paint not included.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SDH70 from A High quality Model The kit looks superb quality with crisp detail of the molding as you'd expect from Tamiya. Instructions are clear and offers 3 different paint schemes. The tracks are individual links, no full rubber tracks or link and length type so some skill is required for constructing (and patience) ! It also comes with one figure depicting the tank commander. The only negative is the box art shows zimmerit applied but the kit does not include this, you will need aftermarket products or the skill to apply paste and sculpt the zimmerit for that effect. I'm very happy with the kit and the price and it is going to be a joy to build once I get around to it. If you are interested in buying a well priced Tiger, then you wont go far wrong with this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Woody67 from Hobbycraft military models kits Have been using Hobbycraft for about a year now as I did not know they did the model kits and they have a good range of different model companies kits which is great but they also do all the models tools equipment and a very good range of paints plus while your there they have every thing you need to make a model diorama all under one roof you could say the one stop shop for it all, very good and helpful staff as haveing a disability if I forget anything at the till they will go and get it for me, can not ask much more than that plus the price range for there kits and all the other stuff needed is priced very well great all round shopping.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jez64 from Superb detailing and clear instructions Excellent instructions for assembly / painting. Paint schemes supplied on the box are an added bonus. Vignette of the history of the Mid Production Tiger also helped to kindle greater enthusiasm. I would certainly buy another Tamiya model from Hobbycraft.

I found the tracks a little hard and fiddly to put together, as they are all individual links and it recommends 1/2 hour to link 100 pieces in order to for it to be flexible fit it straight onto the wheels. but the rest of the kit is quite easy. Completed with paint and detailing it looks the part in my collection.

It is a good representation of the actual tank. Kit is well moulded and goes together easily. This particular version contains individual track links to get a more realistic sag.

Rated 4 out of 5 by simon39 from Nice kit , good price but no zimmerit as shown on box This is typical Tamiya ,fits nicely and has a choice of decals, but box art shows the vehicle with zimmerit , but comes without ! Wood filler and the Tamiya zimmerit tool and some practice are needed to complete the model as the box art.
