A few blobs gave a lovely chocolate brown
I used this to colour royal icing when decorating biscuits and found it much more effective than the "extra strong" colouring you find in the supermarket. It will go much further. I used a cocktail stick to add dabs of colour gradually and achieved a lovely chocolate brown. Note that royal icing dries a bit darker so what looked caramel brown when wet was chocolate brown once dry. Lovely!

Great Product
I've tried a few different food gels and colourings but I feel that the Wilton Food Gels are by far the best I have found so far. Doesn't take a lot to achieve a great colour and no horrible food colouring tastes!

This easily gives me the dark brown that i need. It mixes well with alcohol for air brushing too
