Yeah - Red Velvet wedding cakes sorted!
So pleased with how this professional quality food colouring paste worked for the red velvet try out cake I made for my niece's wedding. Got the perfect colour without adding lots of gel to the mix. The finished result was deemed to be a success for colour (taste too thankfully!) Had seen a recommendation of this professional colouring gel for red velvet cake - so thankful to have seen it on your site so I could get the cake right first time!

Fantastic vibrant colour
When colouring my buttercream or making red velvet cake this red food gel is perfect for making the colour pop, I absolutely love the colour it gives and it’s so easy to use I can’t wait to buy more food gels in all the different colours!

Not a true red
Despite added loads and loads of this colouring I couldn’t achieve a deep red buttercream. The best I could get was an orangey red.

Good
I heard many people say you needed sugarflair Extra red to get a good red colour but I got a lovely colour with this. I microwaved the butter until melted and then coloured the butter before making the buttercream. Left overnight, I had a lovely red with this.
