Needs storage container for protecting it
Worked okay, but it needs to come with a storage case/tube as it is very fragile being made from thin glass. Only managed to use it a couple of times before breaking it. Might have to buy a new one now but need to find a suitable box/container before doing so, and have not found anything yet.

Condensation makes it impossible to read
On first use the glass tube has developed condensation so its impossible to read the temperature between 50-80c which isnt very helpful when making candles and need you see where 75c. It wouldn't be an issue if you were were making sweets and needed a higher reading visible.

First time buyer
This is my first thermometer and I used it for candied apples and fruit and it was great, accurate. I would recommend it.

Smashed very quickly
I make fudge and toffee regularly. Not only did this thermometer steam up, making it unreadable, it also smashed after two months whilst stirring.
