Derwent Inktense Block Tin

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Colours not bright as advertised Loved the vibrant colours on the listing, especially the purple and blue. Ventured to store to purchase them. Noticed when at home that the tin design completely different, thought maybe the design had changed. In fact the whole thing was not as advertised, different design and the colours inside are very dull. Very disappointed. Called the store, unable to return as i removed the plastic. Advised they change the listing online as it is nothing like the product being sold.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from VERY useful product Did you know that if you mix a little water to these pastel sticks you can use them to PAINT ON FABRIC they become wash safe if you use warm water.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product is an excellent tool After using this product I feel that it is one of the best product I've used as it's duel purpose is effective and the bright colours are longlasting. The only negative point is that they are quite breakable

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely brilliant colours These blocks are great to use. They mix well with water and so blend easily. The colours are vibrant. I shall be looking for other colours in the range. You can draw directly on the paper and then blend or use them like pans and brush the colour directly from them.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Be careful how you use this product I recently bought a tin of derwent intense blocks and was really excited to try them out. A word of warning though, they will stain your fingers if you have any moisture on them. That said, I thought I would try to rub them into the little side pallets thinking they were like Japanese/Chinese ink blocks. Oops I broke a block in half putting too much pressure on! The quality of the colour was reasonable. They seemed to work better used as a pastel and then blended with water. Some quite nice results. Give this a try.
