Final Dates for Christmas Delivery

To ensure your order will arrive before Christmas, please use the following dates:

Standard Delivery: 20th December

Next Day Delivery 21st December

International Delivery 16th December

Click & Collect: 21st December, after this date we will endeavour to process your order from 1 hour where stock is available in store, but this may not be guaranteed.

1 Hour Click & Collect: Until stores close on 24th December

Our delivery partner Royal Mail will send an email and SMS message confirming your estimated two-to-four-hour timeslot on the day they receive and scan your Hobbycraft parcel within their network. You will then have the opportunity to change your delivery day and location in the event that you will not be home. You can manage your delivery using the links in this email, with options to leave in a safe place, deliver to a neighbour or deliver to your local post office for collection. Royal Mail will hold your parcel awaiting your re-delivery instructions for 18 days.

An alternative way of managing your delivery safely is through the Royal Mail app. The app allows you to select alternative options up to the day of delivery by entering your tracking number and selecting your preferred delivery option. Royal Mail will try to deliver to your address in the first instance and adhere to your re-delivery instructions. You can download the Royal Mail are from either the App Store or Google Play Store.

Customers ordering hazardous or age restricted items will need to sign for their delivery and will be asked their year of birth.

Our delivery partner DPD will confirm your delivery slot by text or email, and you’ll also get a link to follow your parcel online.

In addition, you’ll receive a message from DPD on the day of delivery. This message specifies a time period within which your parcel will be delivered.

On the delivery day, you can follow your parcel online with live tracking and a map where you can even see how many stops the driver is due to make before delivering to you.

Not at home?
You can easily adjust the time or place of delivery online. You can also choose to have your parcel delivered to a neighbour, a DPD drop-off point or select a safe place.

With the multiple award-winning myDPD app, you never lose sight of your parcels. The live tracking function shows you exactly where your parcel is. If you won't be home to take delivery of the parcel, you can simply use the redirection options to change the day or place of delivery.

Exclusions

FREE Standard Delivery may be unavailable if your order contains a large item. If so, you'll need our Large Item Delivery service.

You'll be notified of any large items in your order on the basket page.

Order before 8pm Monday - Saturday to collect from 1 hour or next working day (excluding Sundays and Bank Holidays) in most stores, depending on store stock availability. Please note that Click & Collect orders at our Boucher Crescent, Inverness and Newtownabbey stores that are not available from 1 hour will take 3-5 days.

Please note: Orders placed after 6pm on a Saturday, or any time on a Sunday or bank holiday will be processed the next working day (Mon-Fri) and ready to collect within the next working day.

You will receive an email when your order is ready to be collected. Please wait for this email before you go into store. You will need to bring your email or order reference number with you, as well as Photo ID.

Orders will be held in store for 14 days.

Exclusions

Certain products are excluded from Click & Collect, but you will be notified on the basket page if this affects any items in your order.

If your Click & Collect order is late, we apologise. Please rest assured that our team are working hard to have your order ready to collect as quickly as possible. You will receive an email as soon as your order has arrived in store and is ready to collect.

We are continually working on and investing in sustainable packaging. 99% of the bags used to transport our ecommerce deliveries are now paper-based and kerbside recyclable. The remaining 1% use a plastic bag made from recycled plastic that can be recycled with bags at large supermarkets.

Sustainable packaging remains a top priority for us and we are always striving to do more. This is reflected in all materials we use for packaging, as detailed below:

  • Our paper protection wrap is made from 100% recycled material and is 100% kerbside recyclable
  • Our paper mailing bags are made from FSC certified kraft paper and are 100% kerbside recyclable
  • Our corrugated boxes are made from 70% recycled material that is FSC certified, and they are 100% kerbside recyclable
  • We only use plastic bags for liquids and items that may be damaged by shredded packaging. These plastic bags are made from 30% recycled material and are 100% recyclable at soft plastics recycling points
  • Our shredded carboard fill is made on site by recycling supplier packaging
  • We exclusively use paper tape, made from kraft paper. It is 100% kerbside recyclable

Certain items available from Hobbycraft.co.uk are age restricted.

You or another person present will need to be 18 or over to obtain any age restricted items and will be asked your year of birth. If you look under 25, please be prepared to show a valid passport or driving licence when the item is delivered or collected.
