You will also need:
* Cricut Design Space app installed on a laptop, PC, Tablet or mobile device
Open the Cricut Design Space app and start a new project, opening a blank canvas.
Click the image menu from the menu toolbar on the left-hand side of the screen, then search for the following image - Best Day Ever: #M35C42A - and click 'Insert'.
Top Tip: When searching for image numbers you must use uppercase and include the #.
Once back through to the canvas, resize the image as desired.
On the layers panel, select all the images and press the 'Attach' button to ensure the words all stay and cut together in the same formation.
Click on the 'Text' function and type your date of choice into the text box, amend the font using the drop down at the top of the screen. If you have a particular font you'd like to use, type it in the search bar.
Resize the image to your desired size.
Reposition the date underneath the image and select both, then using the 'Align' button to select 'Center Horizontal', once aligned 'Attach' both images.
Once happy with the design, click 'Make it'. Once through to the mat preview screen select 'Continue'.
Once through to the machine set up screen, select the material setting for the vinyl you are using for your project, the quickest way to do this is by clicking 'Browse all materials' - we used the Premium Vinyl setting.
Follow the on-screen instructions to cut out the design.
Once the cut is complete, carefully remove the vinyl from your cutting mat, before weeding the design.
Trim a piece of Transfer Tape to slightly larger than your design, lift the element from the backing paper and transfer to the glass block; use the scraper tool to burnish the vinyl onto the glass surface.
Top Tip: Make sure the glass surface is clean and dust free for the best application.
Once the vinyl is adhered, fill the glass block with your special memorabilia!
