Step 1

Print off the design and lay it on a flat work surface. Carefully remove the glass from the frame and wipe over with a dry cloth to remove any
dust or marks then lay it on top of the design.

Step 2

Now outline and fill the letters in with a white Posca Pen. If you make a mistake, you can easily wipe off the wet or dry paint with a damp cloth. Remember to make sure the glass is completely dry before continuing.

Step 3

To make the yarn balls, take one of the yarns, and wrap it a few times around a pencil (or your finger) being careful not to pull too tight. Pull the yarn off the pencil keeping the loops together, then wrap the yarn around the middle. Next, fold the loops to the centre and continue wrapping the yarn to form a small ball until it is around 2cm wide. Be careful not to make it too big or it will not fit in the frame.

Once the yarn ball is the right size cut the yarn about 1cm from the ball and use the glue gun to place a small dab of glue to secure the yarn in place.

Step 4

Continue making yarn balls in different colours until you have enough to fill most of your frame.

Step 5

Carefully place the glass back into the frame and fill with the yarn balls. Place a piece of coloured card on top for your frame background and then re-attach the frame backing.
