How to make
* Rattan Wreath Base 40cm
* Floristry Wire
* Scissors
* Satin Ribbon
* Spring Flowers (can be bought from a shop or foraged)
Begin grouping together your green leaf foliage to create mini bunches, tie wire around them to secure. Make sure you leave lengths of wire on the mini bunch ready to attach onto your rattan base.
Secure with the wire onto the rattan wreath working your leaves around heading in the same direction and covering around half of the base. You can use this same technique to create a full wreath just carry on working your foliage around the circle.
For spring flowers such as daffodils or hyacinth you can create a doubled up length of wire the same size as the stem of your flower and then place up the stem so that the wire is concealed. You can also use the wire to help you create direction with the flowers as you place onto the wreath base.
Secure your flowers around onto of your green foliage base and using the rattan to help you secure with your wire ends and keep your wreath looking balanced by holding up to check how it is looking as you attach your florals.
Keep building on your foliage base until you are happy with how your wreath is looking, I like a wilder whimsical style to like to have the florals sort of weaving around the base.
