How to make

Step-1

For this make you will need a box frame, a 12″ x 12″ piece of card, a good mixture of different coloured and patterned washi tapes as well as some Thickers stickers. If there is a certain theme you want to create, think about the colours, patterns and textures you are going to use and how they compliment one another.

Step-2

Using the backing from the box frame and a pencil, use this as a template to help cut down the 12″ x 12″ piece of card. Alternatively, you could use use a pencil and ruler. After you have cut the card, it should now roughly measure 8″ x 8″.

Step-3

To create the initial, all you need is a few strips of wash tape. The overall size of this initial should roughly be half the size of the piece of card you have cut. So this particular initial is roughly 4″.

Step-4

When sticking down the letters, leave a space between them and the initial above them. Also leave a space between each letter.

Step-5

Why not add a bit more detail to your box frame? Adding some finishing touches such as a couple of strips of washi tape and a button will help to complete the look. Not only does it look pretty, but it also adds a bit more dimension to the overall look.

Step-6

If you would like to add a button, use a small strand of embroidery thread and a sewing needle to sew in and out of the button holes a couple of times and then remove any excess thread.
Using a glue gun, apply a small amount of glue to the back of the button and then attach it on to the card.
