How to Make a Chalkboard Easter Card
We love a good card project that can be knocked up in a rush and that's exactly why these fun chalkboard easter cards are great! All you need is a topper and a chalk pen or chalk to create something pretty that can be made in only half an hour.

How to make
Place a circular object, such as the rim of a coffee cup, in the centre of a plain black card. Use a chalk pen to draw carefully around the outer edge.
Use the chalk pen to draw small leaf shapes all around the outer and inner edge of the circle. Colour in four or five of the leaves at intervals around the circle.
Top Tip! . . .This card also works using traditional chalk, however do be aware that traditional chalks do smudge and leave dust over the card. A chalk pen gives cleaner and clearer definition.
Lightly, in lead pencil, mark out and write the 'Happy Easter' message. Write over this with the chalk pen. Leave to dry completely, then gently erase any pencil marks.
Position the wooden bird topper and glue in place.
