How to Make a Crochet Gingerbread Village Wreath

How to make
Tension:
Work an even fairly tight tension throughout.
Finished size:
Finished size of the wreath measures approximately 41cm by 41cm
Gingerbread House:
Make 9 houses in the following colours, Sage, Tangerine, Yellow, Lilac, Rose, Mocha, Cornflower, Pink, Aqua.
Make 1x front and 1x back of the Gingerbread house in the same colour. You will need to make 9x fronts and 9x backs for each house.
Ch11
R1. 1dc in the 2nd ch from hook, 9dc, turn (10dc)
R2-10. Ch1 (does not count as st), 10dc, turn (10dc)
R11. Ch1 (does not count as st), dec, 6dc, dec, turn (8dc)
R12. Ch1 (does not count as st), 8dc, turn (8dc)
R13. Ch1 (does not count as st), dec, 4dc, dec, turn (6dc)
R14. Ch1 (does not count as st), 6dc, turn (6dc)
R15. Ch1 (does not count as st), dec, 2dc, dec, turn (4dc)
R16. Ch1 (does not count as st), 4dc, turn (4dc)
R17. Ch1 (does not count as st), 2dec, turn (2dc)

Fasten off and sew in the ends. When you have made 1x front and 1x back in the same colour yarn, put them on top of each other (RS facing out) and you will now work through both pieces to crochet shut.
White
R20. Working in the 1st corner, along the bottom edge. 2dc in the 1st st, 8dc, 2dc in the next corner, work 9dc in the side posts of the Gingerbread house. The roof, work (1dc, bbl) 3times, 1dc, 3dc into the point of the roof, work (1dc, bbl) 3times down the other side of the roof, 1dc. You will now need to start to lightly stuff your house, now work 9dc in the side posts of the final side of the house.
Fasten off and sew in the ends.

R2. Ch1 (does not count as st), 2dc (2dc)
Fasten off leaving a long tail to sew to the house.

Fasten off leaving a long tail to sew to the house.
Work the 1st row in Pistachio, 2nd row in White and the work tow 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15-20 in Pistachio. Work all other rows in White.

R1-14 of the Stripe Christmas Tree pattern in Pistachio yarn only and work in BLs for every Row.
Continue to repeat R15-20 of the Stripe Christmas Tree.
For the Texture, work [2dc] in each FL on R1-14.
Fasten off and sew in the ends.

Fasten off and sew in the ends.
Make x7 in a selection of different colours.

You will work White and Pink yarn, do not fasten of either colour after the colour change.

Sew in your ends.
For the surface crochet, use a contrasting colour and work between each row. Alternatively, you can embroider using a chain stitch between each row.
