How to make
Print out the template above and colour in the dragon's head and tail. Then, cut them out - you may need an adult to help with this bit.
Glue the back of the head and tail onto white card and cut around it - this will make it nice and strong!
Draw around your hand with a pencil onto a sheet of red card and cut it out.
Using your first card hand as a template, draw around it in a few different shades of red card. Then, cut them out. We've used eight handprints, but you can make the dragon as big as you like!
Lay out the card hands in a line, overlapping slightly, making sure the fingers are all pointing in the same direction.
Place your mounted dragon head at the start and the tail at the end.
Next, glue these together where the hands overlap.
Secure two craft sticks to the back of your dragon, using the image as a guide.
We've used tape here to make sure they're secure.
