Transform into character for St George's Day and mark the occasion in style! With just a paper plate and some coloured card, kids can craft a colourful dragon mask that's perfect for bringing the legend to life.

How to make
Step 1
Draw around the template onto a paper plate and cut it out.
Step 2
Paint the plate green. Use a couple of coats to get an even coverage.
Step 3
Use the template to cut out the parts of the face from coloured card. Cut the horns from orange and gold card, black nostrils and a red tongue. Glue these onto the mask.
Step 4
Make a small hole on either side of the mask and thread the elastic on. Check that it fits the head and secure with a knot.
