How to Make Dinosaur Eggs
Frozen dinosaur eggs are such a fun way to create imaginative play for kids on hot summer days. You can create a whole narrative around finding the eggs in the garden, then find ways to help them hatch!
Great for fine motor skills, little hands can chip away with toy tools, spray them with water and experiment with sticking leaves and other natural things to the ice.

You Will Need
* Toy Dinosaurs
* Balloons
* Scissors
Gather up your supplies, then start by placing the dinosaurs into the balloons.
Be careful not to puncture the balloon while doing this! The easiest way is to gather up the balloon with your fingers while easing the toy in.
Fill the balloons with water from the tap and tie to fasten. Place in the freezer, making sure that they aren't squashed against anything that will change the shape of the eggs as they freeze.
Freeze overnight to ensure that they're fully frozen.
Take out from the freezer, snip off the top with scissors and peel off the balloon.
Now they're ready to play with! I added some leaves and put them together in a bowl to create the look of a little nest.
The eggs will be white to start with but will go translucent as they melt.
