How to make
Follow the instructions on the back of the pack to melt the Candy Melts. This can either be done in a saucepan or in the microwave. Whichever method you choose make sure that you keep an eye on the chocolate at all times.
Once the Candy Melts have completely dissolved and you have a smooth flowing mixture, pour a little of the melted mixture into the mould, using a paint brush completely cover the sides of the moulds with your chosen chocolate.
Place in the fridge for 30 minutes to an hour or until set, and then repeat step two so that you have a thick coating of chocolate covering the sides of the mould. Leave to set in the fridge for another 30 minutes to an hour. The egg may need one more coat depending on how thick you would like the egg shell to be.
Once happy with the thickness of the egg shell carefully remove the shell from the mould.
To fix two halves of the egg together brush a little of the melted chocolate around the rim of each shell, and place together so that the edges match up and leave to set.
Alternatively if you would like solid eggs, fill the mould up to the top. Lightly tap the mould on a surface to get rid of any air bubbles and smooth over with a spatula to ensure a flat surface. Place in the fridge for about 45 minutes or until set.
