These adorable spring tin animals are the perfect addition to any window ledge or shelf! They look great as plant pots, craft storage or even a toy for your little ones to play with.

You can make them yourself in no time at all using recycled cans, some craft paint and a few other household items. These cute animals are the perfect project to make this spring.

You Will Need

* Empty Tin Cans

* Primer Spray

* White, Pale Pink and Pale Yellow Craft Paint

* Pale Pink Card

* Pom Poms

* Wiggle Eyes

* Pipe Cleaners

* Yellow feathers

* Strong Glue

Step 1

First apply a coat of primer to the surface of the empty tin cans and leave them to dry.

 

Once dry, add an additional coat to each tin.

Next, paint the primed tin cans in a pale pink for the bunny, yellow for the chick and white for the lamb.

 

Leave to touch dry before applying a second coat of paint.

Use the templates provided to cut out the bunny’s ears and feet in pale pink card and bright pink felt respectively.

 

Then glue the pieces to the pink painted tin can, along with some white pipe cleaner whiskers, a pair of wiggle eyes and a pom pom tail.

Step 4

To create your lamb, use the template to cut out a black felt head and a strip of white scalloped felt hair.

 

Glue these to the white painted tin can, and add a pair of wiggle eyes.

Now it's time to create the chick.

 

First cut out a yellow felt triangular beak and glue it to the yellow tin can. Stick some wiggle eyes above the beak, and finally add some yellow feathers for wings.

Your cute tin can animals, are now ready to add a touch of spring to your home.
