How to Make a Holiday Scrapbook Album
Want to document that unforgettable holiday or short break away in a scrapbook album? These kraft spiral bound scrapbooks are just the ticket!
Use a double-page spread to capture all your stunning photos, and include notes about your time away. Add stamps, travel embellishments, and make cool vellum pockets to hold tags with extra photos and notes.
Print your photos small if you’ve got lots to share or go over to the next page spread if you need more space. There are no rules – do your own thing and make it work for you.

How to make
Create a base layer on the double page spread using pieces of paper from the Travel Designed A4 Paper Pad. Trim two pieces of the striped paper to 1” wide, and one piece of the multi-icon paper to 3.5” wide. Use two whole sheets of the light blue paper.
Adhere the multi-icon paper to the right-hand side of the spread, leaving an even amount of the kraft page showing at the top, bottom, and right side. Attach the striped piece to the underside of the light blue A4 paper leaving 0.5” showing.
Repeat with the second paper, make sure they are the right way up. Adhere these papers down on the kraft page as seen below.
Using a score board, or a ruler and scoring tool, score and fold a 5.5” x 3.75” piece of vellum at 1.5” in from each side and 1” up from the bottom edge.
Cut out the corners to create the flaps, as seen in the photo. Punch a 2” circle from scrap card, and use this as a template to cut out a notch. Please note: Punches don’t always work too well on the vellum directly.
Add double-sided tape to the flaps and secure to create a pocket. Repeat for the second pocket, this time don’t cut out a notch.
Trim a piece of lined paper from the Travel paper pad for your journaling strip.
Use a corner punch to round the corners. Adhere this to the right-hand side of the spread, tucking in the left edge under the striped paper strip.
Add a thinner journaling strip to the title section.
Now that you have your photos in place you can add more embellishments to finish off your scrapbook spread.
Add another cluster of embellishments to the bottom right of the spread as well (this spread has chipboard travel the world stickers, world stamp chipboard stickers, layered travel stickers and vintage map adhesive gems).
