How to Make a Peony

1. Using the peony templates, cut out the peony petals from a sheet of felt. Arrange the petals in order of size, from smallest to largest.
2. Take one of the smallest petals, put a dab of hot glue in the middle and roll together.
3. Then take each of the other petals in turn, put a dab of hot glue on the bottom and stick around the petal you just glued. Continue until you have glued on all of the petals.

How to Make a Rose

1. Using the rose template, cut out the rose petals from a sheet of felt. Arrange the petals in order of size from smallest to largest.
2. Take one of the smallest petals, put a dab of hot glue in the middle and roll together.
3. For the remaining petals snip approx. 5mm up from the bottom point. Put a dab of hot glue onto one half of the snipped petal, fold over the other and stick together. Continue until you have glued all of the petals this way.
4. Then glue each petal in turn around the first petal. Continue until you have glued on all of your petals.

How to Make a Pom Flower

1. Cut a long, thin rectangle of felt. Put a line of hot glue along one of the long sides and fold in half.
2. Snip along (approx. 5mm) the folded edge.
3. Put a dab of hot glue at one end and roll the rectangle up. Secure with another dab of hot glue at the end.

Draw some leaves on green felt. Cut them out and stick them around the base of the bunny using the glue gun.

Follow the instructions above to make your desired flowers and then arrange them on top of the leaves. When you are happy with the placement, stick them down using the glue gun.

How to Make a Felt Flower Embroidered Hoop

Trace the 'Hello Spring' embroidery template design onto the white cotton using a pencil or fabric pen. Place the fabric into the hoop and stitch the letters using back stitch. Making sure the fabric is tightly in the hoop, trim away any excess fabric.

Draw some leaves on green felt. Cut them out and stick them around the bottom of the hoop using the glue gun.

Follow the instructions above to make your desired flowers and then arrange them on top of the leaves. When you are happy with the placement, stick them down using the glue gun.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Missing Templates I’ve just completed the “Hello Spring” embroidery for making the hoop project. I printed off the tame plate but found A4 size was far too small for the recommended 12” hoop. I was able to enlarge the title using my TV as a light box. I also used different coloured thread for some extra colour. Im about to start the felt sections and just realised that there isn’t a leaf section template. Looking at the photos of the 2 products the green leaves are all identical so I’m assuming they were cut from the template? It’s such a shame and so infuriating as I’m rubbish at drawing so no doubt I’m not going to be happy with my final product. The template of the leaves would’ve been greatly appreciated as they would’ve been the perfect desired size. Now I’ve got to draw out the leaves and hope for the best. Also no instructions on how to make the Pompom flower. What size strip would be needed? As a beginner I’m feeling completely out of depth now.
