Disappointing paint coverage
Although this is a good painting by numbers kit, the board itself is of good quality and clearly numbered, however the paints need improvement they appear to be low in pigment, meaning the paints do not cover the numbers even after going over certain colour sections two or three times, darker colours can be streaky so again you have to apply more than one coat of paint. Improvement of paint pigment and this would get a 5 star review

Nice idea, poor quality paints
Nice idea but paints aren't great quality, so you need to go over most of the colours several times. Disappointed.

Colours are vastly different to expectations
I bought this and a second paint by numbers a couple of months ago to get some practise in for traditional painting. When I initially opened the box for this one the print of the outline was a little off which I didn't think was too much of a problem, and I got to painting
Around colour number 6 I started to look at this and compare to the image on the box and noticed that the colours from 4 onwards were much more orange than on the box but I pushed through. About halfway through painting with colour 10 I compared again (after being told that maybe the orange would dull down when other colours were added) but it still remained exceedingly orange
I put this one to the side and started work on the other Tate paint by numbers I'd purchased. So far the colours are more true to the box image and also a better consistency, so it baffles me why this one so poorly performed
