Look Mum! I made a real clock!!
Clear instructions, and my 5 year old grand daughter enjoyed putting the clock together and she was very proud of her achievement. The instructions were clear - but needed explaining to the kids. On the down-side, the instructions don’t explain how to synchronise the chiming with the position of the hands. Also, the pendulum bob hangs below the level of the clock’s feet, so you’ll need a 2-3 cm pedestal. We made one using Duplo. Overall a great activity for a cold winter afternoon.

Time made fun
Bought this for home schooling, as it shows how a clock works and then we can use it for helping tell the time. My daughter really enjoyed this project.

Nice clock but noisy
My grandson enjoyed building the clock but we discovered it’s quite noisy so he can’t have it next to his bed as he hoped.

Time in your hands.
My granddaughter has at last made the clock, with interested help from her father and younger sister. She is nine years old and thoroughly enjoyed making it. It was within her capabilities and she felt that she had something to show for her efforts.

Great learning toy for kids
I bought this for my sons as they love constructive toys, the added benefits are that it helps them understand how to read the time, how a clock works and all about cog mechanisms. Big winner in this household.

Very loud
Great putting it together but it's so loud with the constant ticking and clicking of plastic bits. It's meant to be loud but it got turned off a lot.
