Disappointing
Really disappointed with this paste and I’ll be sticking to Renshaws in the future .
I have had years of experience decorating cakes for family and friends so I have good equipment etc .
I found this very difficult to roll out evenly .., it was for a big fruit cake for my golden wedding anniversary celebration so I wanted to get it right .
It was very rigid and seemed reluctant to stretch .., I had the correct amount required .
In the end I had to patch the sides and fortunately this is covered with ribbon and flowers .
I mentioned this to a friend who regularly decorated cakes …. She said she tried it, given up and thrown it in the bin and bought a replacement online .
It’s a shame as Hobbycraft now stock a wide range of cake decorating essentials
