Looks good BUT
Incomplete instructions and insufficient thread which unravels. A young child wouldn't be able to make this on their own.

Worth every penny great quality for price.
I got this for Mt autistic granddaughter age 4 , she has never had a make your own kit before plus she loves unicorns so it was really a trial to see if she could manage to make it, she loved it and really treasures it
As for the heart box I brought it for my other granddaughter age 10 to decopage she loves it and keeps her chargers and ear phones in it.

Great starter project
My 5yo loved this and only needed a bit of help. I ended up using a glue gun for the glue as PVA didn’t really stick!

Lack of instruction for kit
This was a first sewing kit to do with my granddaughter. The holes provided were good and she was sewing the stitch well. But there were NO instructions about how to sew in the tail and head bits!! Also the plastic needle will not pass through the felt! Another disappointing kit bought ! It seems that Hobbicraft are not fully thinking through this kit!

Unicorns!!
I love to make these felt animals for my friends and family as presents and little keepsakes. They are easy to make and look great when all finished. A ten out of ten from me for Hobbycraft, love shopping there and always find something different to do! Great sale prices too!
