Really soft!
I picked this yarn not only because it's really good value on the 3for2 offer, but it actually felt much softer than the other more expensive Aran's in the store . I'm currently using it to crochet a bulky, cabled blanket using two strands held together to make it really warm. Its really smooth to work with and actually one of the nicest yarns I've used. Not found any knots or inconsistencies in the colour or thickness of the strands up to yet. I'm already thinking about my next project using the mustard tweed Aran in the same range, and will definitely be using more of the Women's Institute yarns in the future. Please don't stop stocking them!

I can't believe it's not butter!
If you're looking for an acrylic yarn which feels as smooth as butter, then this is the yarn for you! It glides across my crochet hook and because of this, it works up really quickly. The colour has lovely flecks of browns, greens, amber's and other earthy tones. Plus, 14p from the sale of each ball goes to the WI which helps to inspire women, which I think is fantastic!
I didn't realise there was a 3 for 2 offer when I purchased the balls in store. So, this could be much clearer in future. Subsequently, I purchased 2 and another seperatly which worked out quite expensive, but not a comment on how beautiful the yarn is to work with and the finish.

Beautiful yarn
Absolutely love this yarn. I've made 2 large blankets and am about to start a third. It's so soft to work with and is very warm. The fleck in the design is just enough to keep your design interesting. Would highly recommend.

Beautifully soft to work with
Having previous worked with a coarse Aran, I found the softer version a pleasure to work with. So much so, I found myself knitting for four to five hours before having a break. Good thing my Husband makes a good cup of tea!

Beautifully soft aran yarn
It's not quite tweed but it has all the likeness of it. (Plus super soft!)
A versatile aran weight that knits up really well.
On top of that you get 600m in one ball!
I only wish it came in more colours.

Lovely easy to work yarn.
Soft with a subtle sheen, I have used this in various crochet projects. It's not stretchy like some other acrylic yarn and isn't at all scratch hy to wear even with the tweed fleck in. Washes and dries well making it very practical. Rivals some much more expensive yarns. The size of ball is really useful too and minimises mess in my yarn stash that lots of smaller balls makes. 3 for 2 also makes it a great price for large projects.
