Slight issue - decoupage
I love these little boxes but they have one small design fault. Once you have added any paper or paint to the the parts of the lid that need to sit flush against each other - the magnet closing mechanism fails. I have had to add a clasp to the box as a closure and just forget the magnet all together. If these were designed with a little more room at the hinge they would be perfect. Only option is to leave that space bare or add a coloured wash to it in order to not affect the closure.

Makes a nice little dice box
I got this and stained it with regular wood stain. Took the stain nicely (with sanding) and coupled with a bit of foam and felt inside it's now a really nice dungeons and dragons dice box. The only thing I'd have liked is a stronger magnet or a small catch for the front of the box. I might add a leather stap and buckle to it, but it would have been nice to have a better clasp on there.

Excellent value for money
I make double edged safety razors. To get a custom box made from cardboard costs about £7.
These little wooden boxes are exactly the right size and when stained and lines with tweed look fantastic and add a real look if quality to the product. I have found that people continue to use the boxes rather than discard them so it is also better for the environment.

Fantastic product!
I bought this gorgeous inexpensive little box to practice pyrography on (something else I got into from Hobbycraft!) and I love it. Cheap and cheerful, yet doesn’t look or feel cheap at all. Perfect size for little bits and bobs and I am thinking of giving it as a gift once I have designed on it in pyrography.

such a fun medium to work with!
I purchased the little wooden Jewlery boxes to make some homemade gifts for family. One I used a wood burning tool and made tribal patterns, the other I used wood stain to create patterns. I love the way they turned out.

Perfect as a gift box
The box is a great size for a gift box we needed for a Xmas pressie. Great quality. Our daughter used coloured pencils to decorate and it looked great

Great as is it and for adding personal touches
The box has a neat finish which makes it suitable for use as it is. Also the neat finish makes it suitable for adding personal touches like painting on it etc. Very functional. I have used these earlier to give away small sweet treats to children and the box is versatile for many uses .

Great storage option
Great little boxes with magnetic fastener. I actually use for electronic components which I do not wish to keep in plastic or metal because of condensation.
