How to Make a Wedding Macramé Bouquet Wrap
Create the ultimate boho look for your wedding with this macramé project. With just a few simple macramé knots, you can create this bouquet holder which will look amazing on your special day.
The macramé bouquet wrap is a wonderful way to add a handmade flourish to your big day.

You will need
Cut the following lengths:
14 x 2.5m
1 x 50cm
- Place the shorter string, 50cm on your flat surface with masking tape and tie the 14 longer strings on it using the Lark’s Head Knot.
Tie a row of 7 Square Knots
Tie a row of 6 Alternating Square Knots
Starting from the left tie a row of 3 Square Knots
Tie 2 Alternating Square Knots underneath
Tie 2 Alternating Square Knots underneath, then one Alternating Square Knots and one more underneath
Repeat Steps 4-6 mirroring the pattern
Take string #14 and use it as a guide, tie a diagonal line of Double Half Hitch Knots using strings 13-1
Take string #15 and use it as a guide, tie a diagonal line of Double Half Hitch Knots using strings 16-28
Take the four strings in the middle and tie a Square Knots
Take string #1 & #2 from the Square Knot and the two strings on the left and tie a new Square Knot
Continue repeating Step 11 until you have made a diagonal line of 6 Square Knots
Repeat on the other side
Take string #14 and use it as a guide, tie a diagonal line of Double Half Hitch Knots using strings 13-9 (don’t use the 4 strings on the left)
Repeat on the opposite side
Tie a large Square Knot using the middle 6 strings as filler strings. Use the 4 strings on the left and the right as working strings to tie the Square Knot.
Take string #5 as a guide and tie diagonal line of Double Half Hitch Knots using strings 6-14
Repeat on the opposite side
Repeat on the opposite side
Starting on the left side, take strings 3-6 tie a Square Knot. Continue to tie a diagonal line of 5 Square Knots.
Repeat on the opposite side
Tie a Square Knot with the middle 4 strings
Take string #1 as a guide and tie a diagonal line of Double Half Hitch Knots using strings 2-14
Repeat on the opposite side
Start from the left and tie a diagonal line of 6 Square Knots and repeat on the opposite side
Tie a Square Knot with the middle 4 strings
Start from the left, keep aside the first two strings, tie a diagonal line of 5 Square Knots and repeat on the opposite side
Tie a Square Knot with the middle 4 strings
Tie 2 Alternating Square Knots underneath, followed by 3 Alternating Square Knots
Next tie 2 Alternating Square Knots underneath, followed by one Alternating Square Knots
How to tie the wrap on a bouquet
The shorter string at the top, wrap and tie a knot at the back of the bouquet
Use the strands and weave them through the gaps between the Square Knots
Crisscross the strings as you weave them. Tie a knot to secure the wrap.
