5 Clay Christmas Tree Decorations to Make
You Will Need
* Air Drying Clay - White and Terracotta
* Straw
* Velvet Ribbon
How to Make
Separate out two tennis ball-sized pieces of the white and terracotta clay.
Roll the clay out into long sausage shapes that are equal in length and thickness, ours were about 1.5cm in thickness.
Twist the white and the terracotta clay together slowly, making sure your twist is equal along the length of the clay.
Cut into the length you’d like your candy stick to be, then bend the top round into a curve.
Using a straw, pierce a hole through the clay to thread your ribbon through.
Leave to dry for 24 hours.
You Will Need
* Air Drying Clay - White
* Knife
* Straw
* Red Posca Pen
* Gold Brush Pen
* White and Red Twine
How to Make
Roll your clay to about 1cm in thickness.
Using your knife, draw a mitten shape into the clay, you can also use the provided templates if you aren’t comfortable working freehand.
Cut the mitten shape out and repeat.
Smooth the edges of the mitten using your fingers, and then add a hole at the top by piercing your straw through.
Leave to dry for 24 hours.
Decorate your mittens by adding a brush lettered capital, and then painting stripes across the mitten shape.
You Will Need
* Air Drying Clay - White
* Bauble Cookie Cutter
* Rolling Pin
* Dark Green & Sage Acrylic Paint
* Size 3 Paintbrush
* Gold Velvet Ribbon
* Letter Stamps
How to Make
Roll out your air dry clay to 1cm in thickness.
Using your cutter, cut your bauble shapes out of the clay and smooth the sides with your fingers.
Using the letter stamps, add your personalised names to the clay pushing down to imprint the letters. Using a straw, add holes at the top of the bauble.
Leave to dry for 24 hours.
To add your foliage decoration, use a size 3 paint brush and take the dark green acrylic paint to paint a curved line on the top right of your bauble.
Add leaf shapes, working along the line and then repeat the motif in the bottom right hand side of the bauble so they are mirroring each other.
Now, using some of the sage green, add three small berry shapes at the end of each of the foliage motifs by painting a circle and leaving a small circle unpainted inside.
Leave to dry before stringing ribbon through to hang the decoration.
You Will Need
* Air Drying Clay - White
* Star Cutters
* Straw

* Twine
How To Make
Roll out your air-dry clay to around 1cm in thickness.
Using the star cutters, cut your star shapes out ensuring you create different size shapes to add more variety to your garland.
Using your straw, add holes to each of the stars, and smooth out any stray clay along the sides of your clay before leaving it to dry for 24 hours.
Once dry, you can decorate your decorations or simply leave them white for a more minimal look.
