How to make

Heart Keyring Design Step 1

Select a circle and heart shape from the shapes section on the left-hand bar within Cricut Design Space. Resize the circle so it is small in comparison to the heart. Place the circle on the top of either side of the heart. This will be the hole where the keyring will go through.

Step 2

Once foiled and cut take your keyring and thread it through the hole. Easy to assemble and a personalised gift for mum.

Step 3

Position one daisy shape over the other and make smaller. Select a circle shape and duplicate. Overlap each circle halfway and again work in a clockwise motion. This is to create the flower centre. Select all the circles and weld together. Place the center in the middle of the smaller daisy shape. Select the smaller daisy and the centre you just created and use the slice tool.

Step 4

Select the smaller daisy and change the linetype to foiling. To do this select 'linetype' and go down to 'foiling' then select. I have used bold foil tip for this project. By the side of linetype you can change the foil colour if needed.

Step 5

Position the flowers and leaves around the outside of the heart shape.

Step 6

Select a circle and position on the top of a larger daisy petal making it small enough to fit inside the petal. Select the bigger daisy and the circle and use the slice tool. This hole is for the keyring.

Step 7

Ensure that all layers are attached together.

Step 8

Use the text tool and create 'MUM' in capitals. I used Cricut sans. Position in the centre of the liner.

Step 9

Change the text to foiling as before with the flowers and attach all layers together including the heart shape.

Daisy Keyring Design Step 1

Select 2 circles from the shapes section on the left-hand bar within Cricut Design Space.

Step 5

Select a square shape and unlock this shape. Make the square as thin as you can so it looks more like a line than a square. Resize this shape to overlap a daisy leaf running down the centre as well as each side of the petal. Do this for all petals ensuring the lines are smooth and not over the edge of the daisy shape. Select all the lines and smaller daisy shape and attach together. Then attach this to the base daisy keyring shape.

Keyring assembling steps Step 1

Take your material and your StandardGrip cutting mat. Place the material on first, right side up. Then place the foil transfer sheet on top and use the tape provided in the foil transfer sheet packs to secure in place. Ensure you follow the on-screen guidance for the foiling and cutting process.
