Blocking the squares will make them flat and easy to work with, you can use a blocking board or lay them on your mattress and use pins to hold them from the corners. Spray a little water on them and let dry.
1. Set the squares flat, align them so that the sides to be joined are touching each other, you can use markers to help you, using the tapestry needle go in and out the stitches starting from the back and sew the granny squares together as the pictures shows.
2. Use color D yarn to make a band with color D squares, this is going to be the bottom and the sides of the handbag.
3. Use color A yarn to follow the yellow line, use color B yarn to follow the green line, use color C yarn to follow the blue line to sew the squares together. Make two separate pieces as the picture shows and then sew through the middle.
Using color D yarn work sc (dc) in every st to join the big rectangles to the color D band. Start from one of the sides top corner and follow the line.
Using color A yarn work sc (dc) in every st at the top of the handbag to give it a finished clean look. Start from a corner.
